Jack Entry #12

Entry #12:
In the morning, I hear talking while we are torturing one of the twins to try and find where Ralph is hiding. We all find out where he is hiding and we try to get inside of the thicket and attack Ralph. But it is unsuccessful, so I decide to light the forest on fire to try and smoke him out. He breaks out and runs from us, he then collapses on the beach from running. When we reach the beach, we find a Naval office standing with Ralph and we all realize that we had become so savage and that we all need to group together as one! We had been saved.

Entry #11:
The hunters and I were coming back from killing a pig in the forest, and I see Ralph so I yell at him to leave our camp. He tells me that he needs Piggy's glasses back, so I attack Ralph and bring him to the ground. He tries telling me that we need a signal fire inorder to be saved, but I ignore him and tell some of the hunters to go and capture Sam and Eric and bring them back to the camp. Then he attacks me again and we begin another fight and this time all I could hear is Piggy's whining. So Roger rolls a massive boulder down the mountain side. It nearly hits Ralph, but it does hit Piggy, and it knocks him off the mountain side and he falls to his death. I try to throw a spear at Ralph, but he dodges it and runs off into the forest. But after that we begin to torture Sam and Eric, which forced them to join our tribe.

Entry #10:
The next day we tie up Wilfred and beat him for disobeying my orders and I warn all of the members to be aware of Ralph and his group. We are all convinced that Simon was the beast and that we have been saved from it wrath. But the beast is never truly dead, so we must always keep guard from it. Then I explain that we need to raid Ralph's camp inorder to obtain fire wood and other resources. We sneak in and attack Ralph camp while they're asleep! We beat Ralph badly and his other members as well. And we also stole Piggy's glasses, so we could make fires.

Entry #9:
I propose to Ralph's tribe that their members may join mine. But there is a large rain storm, and we do the rain dance in response. We are dancing in the forest and we happen to see a figure in the distance, it is the beast and we all run after it and attack it fiercely and we jump over the rock and land on it. It has finally been killed but then I realized that it was Simon. We leave and watch as his corpse is mangled and keeps washing up on shore.

Entry #8:
When we wake up the next morning, everyone seems to be stirred up about something, so I blow the conch shell and there is a meeting that is called. I tell them that there is a beast and I tell them that Ralph is a coward and should not be in the leadership role. I am so angry at that moment that I leave and create my own tribe and anyone is welcomed to join if they wish. My new tribe has been formed and we go on our first hunt and Roger kills a sow. Then we take the skull and put it in the forest and quickly run away. We later go to Ralph's camp and ask if they wish to join us for dinner. And then we begin to raid their camp.

Jack Entry #7

Entry #7:
On our way to the mountain, we all stop and have something to eat. Ralph stares blankly out at the ocean and is concerned about the littluns and how they are not being responsible. Later, we happen to find pig dropping and we begin to hunt this pig, while we search for the beast. Ralph comes with and he took a sharp spear and hit the pig in the snout, but the boar cuts my arm and it is bleeding heavily. We all are very excited after the hunt and we reenact the hunt with Robert and hit him with spears, and I suggest that next time we should use a littlun instead. The next morning we go out to hunt and we bring Ralph with, and we go out to the mountain and start climbing it while Ralph and Roger wait at the bottom.

Jack Entry #6

Entry #6:
Ralph has allowed me to go out on a search, and we get to a part of the island that we have never explored before. There is a cave and we are all very frightened of it so nobody wants to go in it, but then I join Ralph in exploring the cave. As we climb the hill Ralph and I start talking again and try to rebuild our bond that we had in the beginning. While all of the other boys are playing and pushing rocks, Ralph reminds me that we are still looking for the beast, and we must return to the signal fire and rekindle it inorder to attract people to the island for help.

Jack Entry #5

Entry #5:
At the next meeting, Ralph yells at the younger boys on how they are not listening to the rules that have been set. They are refusing to do the things that have been assigned to them, but none of these things have been done. Then he reminds them of the importance of the signal fire and how thats our only way off of this island. The littluns say that there beast dreams are increasing and I reassure them that there is no beast in the forest. But they still seem to be frightened by these dreams. But one of the littluns actually says that hes seen the beast before in the forest and he says that I comes from the ocean at night. But I said that if there is a beast, then we will kill it. Then the hunters and I run off into the forest and leave Simon, Ralph, and Piggy on the beach.

Jack Entry #4

Entry #4:
I am so obsessed with the idea of killing a pig, out of rage, I cover my face in camouflages and enter into the forest, in search of a pig to kill for food. And while in the forest I happen to kill my first pig! We return with the pig back to the beach to meet the others, while chanting a hunting song. But I am immediately skulled by Ralph once again, and he is saying how childish I am acting. Everyone is overjoyed about my kill and of course, Piggy begins to whine about my childish ways and I have had enough, so I slapped him as hard as I could. Ralph becomes very furious about my behavior towards Piggy so we begin to argue. After that we all celebrate and cheer about my success.

Jack Entry #3

Entry #3:
I had made a makeshift spear out of a stick and I begin to stalk a pig through the forest, but I lose sight of it. I was very upset after the missed opportunity and headed back to the beach to meet with the others, and once I get there, I happen to see Ralph and Simon working on the huts. But Ralph seems to be very angered, because the huts keep falling down and the other boys are not helping them at all. Them Ralph turns the tables towards me and starts to yell at me for not being able to kill anything for us to eat. I explained to him that I would be able to catch a pig and return it for the group. But Ralph is starting to worry about the stupid littluns and how they are having nightmares every night, and I have no interest in what he had to say. Ralph is still very upset at me for using not being to kill anything as an "excuse", but I really not able to hunt anything right now and it is quite hard. The argument gets very heated, but we realize that we should probably forget about it and go swimming. This does not work and we still are angry at each other.

Jack Entry #2

Entry #2:
Ralph blows the conch shell, once we get back, calling all of the other boys to a meeting on the beach. Once everyone is gathered, Ralph explains that there are no adults on the island and they need some rules.  But I call out during the meeting and remind Ralph of the pig in the forest, and that we need to kill animals for their meat, inorder to survive. Then Ralph explains that you may only talk, if you have the conch shell in your possession. I agree with this idea, because it gives more rule to the group. But Piggy, as always starts to complain that no one knows about us crashing on a island. Surprisingly, many of the boys are worried and show signs of doubt, after Piggy cried out. Everyone is quiet, even including me, but a younger boy explains that he saw a "beastie" looking snake creature last night. All of the younger boys are very frightened by this discovery from the younger boy, but we reassure them of the fact that there is no monster to be afraid of, and that it was probably just a nightmare. Ralph then suggest that we should light a fire on the top the central mountain, inorder to attract ships to the island. Excited by the thought, all of us begin to rush to the top of the mountain and build the fire, but Piggy and Ralph are far behind. And the entire time, Piggy complains about how immature and childish the children are and how they think that they will be saved. Once we reach the top, we all gather up a pile of dead wood to set on fire and we use Piggy's glasses to focus sunlight. The fire is strong for a few minutes, until Piggy starts getting upset about us using his glasses to make a fire. And he also said that they need to work more efficiently inorder to get off of the island. I volunteered the hunters and I to keep care of the fire, while we are out and about. But in the process of rekindling the fire, a group of trees has been set on fire. Piggy is enraged by the fact that the little boy who told them about the beast is missing. Ralph is very upset, but tried not to show it.

Entry #1:
I have just reached the island with the other choir boys, and we immediately start trying to find any signs of life. But we were soon to hear the sound of a conch being blown from the beach, so we began to march to the sound. I was named the leader, due to the fact that I was the oldest and the most wise person amongst the children that I was commanding. Once we reached the others, we went into formation, but we couldn't help but make fun of this fat little boy who looked ridiculous with huge glasses and he was so fat at the same time. But they all introduced themselves, Piggy, Ralph, Simon, and the others. We all begin to talk and meet one another, until we decided that some ground rules need to be established, so we wanted to select a leader. And it is obvious that I should have been in charge, due to the fact that I'm much bigger and stronger than the others. We began the vote between Ralph and I, so all the choir boys voted me to be the leader, but I could not believe it, the others boys voted Ralph to be leader and HE WON! I was furious with this decision, but Ralph had made all of the choir boys the hunters, and I was the leader of the hunters. Then after that non-sense, Ralph selects Simon and I to explore the island and become cognizant of our surroundings. We all become overjoyed with the exploration. We all seem to be forming a connection between one another and we become distracted, and start playing in the forest while we should be exploring for any resources that could be vital for our survival. Once we stop playing, we start venturing more to the other side of the island, were there are steep, jagged rocks that we climb up and once we get to the top, we discover that were is no signs of civilization around to save us. All that we can see is water and no other signs of land anywhere close to us. But on the way back to the beach were the boys are waiting, I see a wild pig caught up in some vines. I took out my knife and went to kill it, but something inside of me hesitated to kill the pig, so I pulled back. Then it was able to get out of the tangled mess that it had gotten itself into. I told the other guys that next time when I have that kind of opportunity to kill a pig, that it will not happen again. Then afterwards we head back to the beach to meet the others.
